In the Small Museum of Jawa Technology by Sázava you can see 70 motorcycles of Czech and Slovak production, historical physical models, models of technical principles, engine sections, crystal receivers, measuring instruments and many other technical attractions on 200 m2 of exhibition space.
The aim of the exhibition is to attract everyone who likes technology, even those who may not know it about themselves.
The museum was created by gradual renovation in the premises of a former textile, clothing and carpet shop in a house that dates back to the early 20th century. The intention of the exhibition was thus also to revive a building that would probably have no other use. The biggest challenge of the reconstruction was the problem of humidity. The project was a purely private affair and was not subsidised or otherwise supported by any public funds.
